CHÂTEAU DE CHANTILLY

HIPPODROME DE CHANTILLY

Chantilly Racecourse was inaugurated in 1834. It is located on the edge of the forest near Chantilly Castle and covers 65 hectares. MUSÉE CONDÉ

The Condé Museum is a French museum located in Chantilly Castle. Henry of Orleans, Duke of Aumale, son of King Louis-Philippe I, bequeaths in 1897 the castle, with all its collections, to the Institut de France. PAVILLON DE MANSE

The Manse Pavilion, also known as the “Mill of Princes,” is located in the centre of the town of Chantilly on the banks of the Nonette, 10 minutes from the castle.

POLO CLUB D’APREMONT – CHANTILLY

In 1995, a group of friends created the Polo Club of Domaine de Chantilly in the village of Apremont. PARC ASTERIX

The Asterix Park is a tourist complex comprising a theme park and two hotels opened on April 30, 1989 and managed by Compagnie des Alpes, a subsidiary of the Caisse des dépôts, since 2002. The theme park is dedicated to the world of the comics of Uderzo and Goscinny: Asterix. It is located in Plailly, in the Oise, about thirty kilometers from Paris.

It is one of the theme parks in Europe to have been awarded a Thea Award by the Themed Entertainment Association.

MER DE SABLE

La Mer de Sable / the Sable Sea is a theme park opened in 1963 and located in the heart of the Ermenonville Forest, in the immediate vicinity of Ermenonville in the Oise. It is the oldest active theme park in France. The park offers visitors the discovery of three universes: “The Gates of the Desert” with its dune, “in the time of the pioneers” on the conquest of the West and “the jungle” with its exotic world.

Instead for children under the age of 14, the park offers twenty-three attractions including five playgrounds and other monkey bridges, four live shows including two equestrians, a farm with two hundred animals and a pony ride.
